Im thinking about creating a E-bay Shop for my account so that people can view all my items which i am selling, does anyone have the basic account, and is it any good ?

I have a basic eBay shop. Requires about $16 a month.
Basically the differences between having a shop and not having a shop:
-You get the possibility of uploading 12-free pictures on your listings with a basic shop.
-You get a discount on listing fee.
-A selling manager will be included in your 'My eBay', basically the whole layout changes and there will be many more features. But the simplicity of eBay will be gone.
-You will see everything related to your selling at a glance:
The amount of sales last one day, last 7-days, last 30 days, last 90 days and last 120 days. You'll have the seller dashboard. Alerts - New international sales (number).
You'll also see the listing actvity like active listings, ending today, format, schedules etc..

All this on one page is very informative which was not the case when I did not have a store.

Marketing tools - You can send out emails, you can also start discounts on selected categories.

In short, the looks of your eBay page will become a little more professional, get marketing tools, use the store to market your other products below your listing or above, the possible discounts on listing fee. More detailed explanations are available at eBay site.

I clubbed some screenshots from different areas of the store. Mainly showing the Store Manager main screenshot in different cuts, it's a change. Also telephone numbers are shown of each order when you click view order details. Email addresses are shown on SOLD item page alongside the other sales details.

I'd say opening a basic store is a very good and inexpensive options to leap into professional selling.

It's important to send some nice simple promotional gear with your items, even if it is just a written note. It makes a difference, other times you can send emails to subscribers and act as promotion.

Read the eBay rules very carefully. Some of the information is not allowed to be inserted into the listings.

i created an ebay account and it free but you need a visa or master card !

Yes! to open a store you have to have a card-on the file and they'll make you accept a document allowing them to automatically charge your credit card or other automatic payment method incase of a refund. Therefore, should be very careful!

I agree...without research you can start getting charged a bunch of cash to have store. You might be better off just creating a website and shopping cart with paypal. Then do seo to rank it for whatever your selling...like "buy cool keychains":p
