Creating blog network question

Hi,

I got couple question regarding creating blog networks.

1st) Do you use separate domain or separate c-class for every blog(domain) ?

2nd) Do you use whois privacy to avoid footprints ?

3rd) Do you use same google analytic ? is that safe in matter of footprints ?

1) all separate
2) mostly
3) not with a 10 foot pole. you don't need that kind info about your blog network anyway.
 
by first question I mean is that separate ip for every domain or separate c-class for every domain ?
 
I use entirely separate IP addresses just because to me it's as easy as separating only c-class for each domain anyway.
Private registrations, and then if you really need analytics for some odd reason I certainly would not use any Google tool.
 
but in hosting costs having separate c-class will be pretty expensive other than having separate ip for every domain
how do you deal with that ?
 
I simply find those who have shared hosting or a reseller account and lots of room left on their account and ask if they will let me place one of my domains as an addon with limited space/bandwidth (since I never realistically expect my network to receive very much traffic anyway).

try not to for blogs

Also, once you create a few blogs you have to either keep creating content by hand or with automation. I found a pretty good system that explains all of the above and offers auto curated content and its all pretty cheap. Blog networks take time, the more you put in the more you usually get out.

1. Class C+ or cloud hosting
2. privacy + sometimes fake owners ID
3. no way, same goes for any other tracking software - you will have one piece of code on all sites tying them up together. If you want to check traffic stats, log onto cPanel.
 
Don't even bother with analytics for your network sites. Once you get the network up and running you would never check them anyway
 
I wouldnt put any analytics if I were you, as it anyway isnt so relevant for the purpose. For hosting, you may not always have to use a premium account. There are free hosters which can serve the purpose so long as the bandwidth is within their permissible limits.

1st) Definitely if you like to see results use separate c-class for every blog or domain.

2nd) Like FatSteve says use fake id's.

3rd) Do you use same google analytic ? is that safe in matter of footprints ?
3rd) Use email id of domain for Google Analytics and Webmasters. I know adding complete network on one email id is easy to manage but this can be done by sharing stats on one email id. :p
 
sorry to junp up on this, but why would he want to use fake id? Something tells me i am missing something here..
