Creating and Maintaining Accounts Without a Phone?

Let's say from my Linux computer I need to open and maintain an Instagram account, Facebook account, Telegram account, and Youtube account for a legitimate business-- but I don't own a phone and don't really want to own one.

How do I get this done for as cheap as possible, as well as best insure I never lose access to the accounts?

I suppose I would need to get and maintain (forever) a non-VOIP phone number of my own for receiving SMS verification codes on? With that, my main concerns are:

1. I will not need or use this number for anything other than verification if ever prompted. Therefore I don't want to spend $20 a month or more for it.
2. I do not want the number to be recycled if it's not used too often, or to end up in someone else's possession, and I preferably don't want it to be vulnerable to a SIM swap attack.
3. I do not want to pay more than maybe $10-$20 or so a year since it's never going to be used other than for if I'm ever prompted for verification.

VOIP numbers don't work on major services, apparently. So a SIM is needed. Textnow offers this but, stupidly, requires you to have a phone and either an Apple, Google, or Facebook account just to even sign up. So they are off the list. MySudo also is VOIP and also requires SMS just to create an account with them.

I'm willing to own a dumb phone for this and just turn it on whenever I need it, but to my knowledge "pay as you go" does not actually exist for prepaid phones I've seen in stores. I'd love to just pay for a dumbphone and a few minutes and keep the number/SIM indefinitely or close to, but all prepaid phones I've seen require you to buy new minutes each three months or so, even if you didn't use all the ones you bought.

Anyone have any ideas?

Insta, fb, youtube you can use without phone, but eventually you really need it.
and TG they forching to use phone number while creating.

Just use your family/friends mobile numbers. if you don't want to get one.

Thanks. When you say "eventually you really need it" for the phone on IG, FB, and Youtube, how often does this happen, where you are prompted for verification? And is it random or provoked?

If I join IG, FB, and Youtube, a year later am I still going to be asked to verify the phone number? Two years later? Three years later?

Get a SIM card from Romania.
After the initial 5 Euros top-up, you only need to load like 3-4 euros each year to keep the number active ( receiving, not sending ).

Excellent, mate. Where can I do this at? Do they ship to America as well? Do they accept credit cards? Do they work in US phones? Is it an actual major company or some kind of shady small shop? You used them? Fantastic news. Sorry for all the questions.

I'm talking about Vodafone Prepaid Sim Cards. You buy them at any convenience store.
For shipping, you would need someone from Romania to do this. As in, buy the sim card, and send it to you. So yeah, now that I think about it, there is another cost involved.
Shipping shouldn't be that expensive, though. I'm guessing another $5 for EMS post? Might be talking out of my ass, you should research.
The price is accurate because that's where I'm from.
It should work in US phones, because of Roaming. The cheapest option you have has like 100 minutes of Roaming, and it applies to texts too.

If you are from the US, why not try Mexico? It's as cheap as Romania, and it's closer to you.

Carriers have to keep the number available for at least 1 year if you had one top-up.

Or buy Lebara SIM CARDS from UK. Those are specially made for roaming, and come with minutes and texts included.

I'm not too concerned with the price as long as it's relatively cheap, just the logistics of it. I know no one in Romania, and live way too far from the Mexican or Canadian borders. If there was some place that offered the SIMs you're talking about online for shipping, that would be the absolute best. Do you know of anywhere online where you can order what you're talking about? I'll have to look around later on today after work. I know of no stores in the US that offer prepaid plans for anything under $20 per 3 months or so; it's ridiculous. So what you're talking about sounds like a dream come true if there's anywhere online that offers them. Thanks.
