Hi Everyone,
I run a business in a small niche and have been thinking of starting an affiliate program for a while. One of my competitors has had bots, or just people doing a lot of manual work, crawling Facebook and posting links to their website. Their website is a complete scam though, and they were even ordered by the government to pay $1.6 Million and never to use affiliate networks again (they still do) https://ag.ny.gov/press-release/2023/attorney-general-james-and-ftc-secure-16-million-online-apartment-finder
They're called Roomster if any of you have heard of them.
I want to replicate their strategy of acquiring customers. I don't post here often but I thought you guys of all people would know where I can start. Any advice on how I can start an affiliate program to drive customers? If their product can do it while they're basically a complete scam, I'm confident mine that's actually useful can do any even better job.
