Creating accounts with proxies on iOS?

So the way I've been creating accounts is restoring my iphone to get a new device ID to make instagram accounts.
I am using proxies via the wifi settings. However, I read somewhere that the instagram app bypasses the proxy.

Is this true? And if it does is there a way to force instagram to go through the proxy? im ok with jailbreaking if needed

Does anyone know if Instagram also bypasses the proxy on android?

for android yes it bypasses

Hmm ok. What about if I use proxifier or proxydroid?

You need to ensure that your specific model is supported with ProxyDroid. A lot of what I have been hearing is people can't get it to work because it doesn't support their model.
