    I'm creating account with proxies.
    This is what I do.

Firefox > Options >Advanced > Manual proxy configuration

I enter the IP and Port then press ok.

A connection is established and the I go to facebook.com

Type in details for a new account. Press sign up and i get a java script popup which says:

Something went wrong. We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can. You may be able to try again.

Any help? These ARE public proxies...

That is your problem, you wont be able to make good, long lasting accounts with public proxies, they are timing out etc + probably fb suspects that you're not a normal user from a wifi connection in a mcdonalds

I'm not planning on using public proxies. I was just testing to see how the whole proxy account creation thing works.

that is mean your proxy is not good enough (read:fast)
    try using private proxies
or if you search the proxies by your self try to find one that have small latency

    best of luck :)
