Creating a solana memecoin from scratch

Why will he lose money though? Isn't everyone doing it?
There are so many coins, that yours will not even be visible for more than a second on the "new tokens page". The website is also filled with trading bots that will pump and dump on your coin whenever they have the chance.

The only way I can see it working is if you have a strong community outside of the website and redirect your users to your token.

It's an interesting question about how the UK plans to enforce such a ban. Given the decentralized nature of Solana, it seems challenging to differentiate between 'legal' and 'illegal' tokens. Plus, with tools like smart contract compilers, anyone can create a token, regardless of geographic location
As far as I understand it correctly, pump.fun themselves have restricted access by geolocation. Which, of course, always gives an opportunity to use vpn. Interesting. They were warned for not indicating the possibility of fraudulent actions on the site. To which the platform, instead of indicating it, simply decided to block the country. So it's much more profitable for them.

Community building is #1 thing in crypto AFAIK

That's how IM'ers can make $$$ IMO

Pump.fun isn't the first platform to use geo-blocking to dodge regulations. It's a common tactic, especially when dealing with regions that have strict crypto regulations. But let's be real, plenty of US users access platforms that are supposed to be off-limits to them. Crypto platforms have a funny way of bending the rules when it suits them

And this is where it becomes quite difficult to determine (although, of course, what could be difficult?) whether you are working with scammers or honest guys. Usually, such companies that use workarounds can become a scam sooner or later. That's my guess.

You're not wrong. It's tough to tell who's legit and who's gonna rug pull you. Even in the top 10 cryptos, you've got at least four projects with devs who've been in trouble with the law. One even did jail time for scams. And let’s be real, the entire GameFi scene is basically a pyramid scheme. Memecoins? That’s a billion-dollar rug pull waiting to happen. Heck, even betting on elections on Polymarket wasn’t scam-free. So yeah, navigating this space is like walking through a minefield.

Just go to pump.fun , everyone does that. Enter email, they create wallet automatically, add funds, fill a form, done. You can do marketing.

Fair warning: you will lose money.

Don't do it from scratch, there's no point writing a smart contract.
well

You've described the situation quite accurately. But we simply have to do this if we want to earn something. And that is why many people simply cannot hold their positions for long, for fear that they may be about to crumble.

I think crypto's gonna tank not because of dev scams, but because of government intervention. Once the US starts dropping regulations and laws, that's game over. Look at South Korea back in 2017 – they were trading Bitcoin for more in KRW than USD for a while. Then they started passing laws, and boom, the 2018 crypto winter hit. I'm betting they had something to do with it.

Hello guys, anyone can explain to me the technical process of launching a solana memecoin? Like i put aside the marketing stuff and etc - just the technical process like how i can develop the right code for a regular solana memecoin?
i can help you on that if you give me some of your supply lol

but because of government intervention
Government ... These are the people who first and foremost care about their people, not their pockets. They can't let everyone have a good time. If they have power, they can make a lot of trouble.

Launching a memecoin is EASY...its the marketing behind it to make it successful that's tough. You're either going to spend several hundred to attract attention OR join an insiders group. It's basically a collective that launches together (and invests together).

If interested, DM me, I'm up 250% so far this year and just started with this group a month ago - https://discord.gg/4s6Vbd3etn
