Does anyone know how I can get a feature gallery on the home page without pulling from any posts or categories? I've currently got the 'dynamic gallery/slider' thingy and managed to get it to do what I want, but I had to create post with thumbnails first. Wanna rejig the site and this time I want a slider that shows the products but just pulls from an image folder. Preferably allows me to have an image as a background so other images can slide over it (like an animation).
I've created an animation of the effect I want but I don't want to just stick a video up there as it'll look much better with a slider. This site has the effect I'm aiming for. It's a customized frugal blog, but how did they get that slider??
I've tried DDSlider but I can't get that to work.
Any ideas?
