Creating a porn site with my own drawn porn/hentai

I'm considering starting a site with porn that I draw as content. The host I'm considering allows porn as long as it is legal in the United states and Texas. Since this is my own original material and doesn't violate copyrights, are there any legal issues I need to be weary of? For example can I get in any trouble for minors viewing my site, etc. Would a warning about adult content on the homepage be enough for that? Will adult advertisers like jucyads, live jasmine, etc generally mind if you use WHOIS protection with your domain? I've read some advertisers don't like that. Can I start as simple as just creating a wordpress site with my drawings and adding ads or would I need to do a lot more with creating the site?

Not sure I'll be doing this anytime soon, but thought I would start looking into it.

There are plenty of people sharing/selling their hentai on patreon. It might be better for you cuz people search patreon for what they want. It would be easier for people with open wallets to find you on patreon than in google results. You'd make money by memberships rather than ads or whatever. You might even find people willing to pay for commissions outside of the patreon system and cut out patreon's cut of your income.

I would say starting out if you put up a pop up with a legal disclaimer about you have to be over 18 to view this site. You should be fine.

I would still ask a lawyer about it. You could use legal zoom and pay a small fee to find out for sure what you have to list.

Once you have the site up if you get a notice that you are violating something as long as you fix the issue you should be fine.

Where people run into trouble is they disregard the notices and then that is when the legal trouble starts happening and the host at that time would most likely suspend the site until you fixed the items they notified you about.

Anyone know if adult advertising companies mind making you an affiliate if your site uses WHOIS protection?

I have tried (and broke even) doing adult marketing, and they don't care about whois privacy, you'll be able to put their affiliate links on your website.

I honestly envy you, the ability (hopefully good) to draw something from scratch.

Some of the people on patereon make decent money. I would also suggest learning to draw and write adult comic strips. You can either try to sell them to sites, or sell them yourself.

The great thing is you don't need to worry about 2257 when it comes to drawn porn. Just make sure that you register you put the RTA, etc codes in your site so that search engines know that it's adult material. I would also follow the advice to get a disclaimer just to be sure.

Regardless you can always pass it off as 'art', rather than porn.

You might also want to consider setting up a store on zazzle or something similar so people can buy your stuff.

If you want to see some of the more successful drawn porn artists check out art of jaguar, and jab comix. Though a lot of sites rip off their content they seem to be very successful in that niche. (Though be warned, incest is very popular in that niche.)

I'd advise becoming affiliate of sites like; sextronix (they have a few comic/drawing sites), art of jaguar, jab comix, etc. Because they are directly related to what you are doing so they will convert better.

I also remembered Hentaibiz and Hentaicentro. I highly recommend putting their links on your site, due to them being directly related to your content.

By original material, do you mean that it does not feature any characters from any sources that might get pissy about seeing their characters molested? Just be careful of any well known characters.

You might also want to look into something like extralunchmoney.com and see if you could do custom work for people. With some upselling you could charge for detailing, coloring, background, or even which parts are included. I assume since people can sell drawing on themselves you can sell drawing hentai.
