Creating a movie streaming site

I currently have created a PHP script that scrapes through IMDB, getting the IMDB id for every movie - it then inputs that ID in to a well known video link scraper that inputs links to that movie and rapidly uploads all these links in a beautiful HTML format to my site. I've left this script running for a while now and have a HUGE database of TV shows + Movies.

I am also using shorte.st (along with CPA) which envelopes each link with it so I can grab the extra juice of each viewer. I have an ad campaign set up to have virtual assistants scrounge the forums of popular movie related forums and warez forums to post movie links linking back to my domain. I'm also using a youtube mass uploader that will be uploading thousands of videos spread across multiple youtube accounts linking back to my site for each tv show / movie. I feel like I'm in a good place to let this experiment go and see what happens with the traffic.

The problem is hosting. I live in Canada, and I am fully aware this is illegal. Is there any known to way to at least maximize anonymity in masking yourself from getting "caught" - and be able to run this operation? Can someone recommend off shore hosting and domain services for this kind of thing?

Hm I am planning to do something similar some day.. Just too busy with other stuff right now.. well I don't think you'd get caught that quickly.. just upload the website on the server and see if you get any traffic.. if you start getting traffic and you see some earnings,, then you can think about the next step ...
 
There are many similar sites but doing it in the US or Canada is a 'bit' risky. Specially when I go on reading the BUSTED stories on Torrentfreak everyday.

Follow these if you still persist:

1. AVOID - .com”, “.net”, “.org”, “.co”, .“.us" or anything associated. Go for .ru .se .ws .su
2. Search for a VPS provider in offshore locations - Netherlands, Russia, Finland, Sweden.
3. Go for anonymous hosting or domain if you can afford.
4. Pay with Bitcoins.

If you intend to use facebook for this don't have shorte.st links on your site, they will suspend it and remove all content. This happened to me and i had to go back and remove hundreds of those links, then reapply to facebook to get my page reinstated

Well most people get busted when they start making a great deal of money and get A LOT of exposure - if I ever reach that point, I would shut it down and restart with a new name.
 
I wouldnt risk it in usa or canada bro, find another method as hollywood lawyers are the meanest fu****rs around

They don't really have much of a say or jurisdiction if you get an anonymous domain and offshore hosting that is actually reliable when they say "DMCA protection" because some aren't...

Do you think some host is going to stay silent when they are being sued for not turning over someone that is just paying them a few bucks a month?

I'm not sure you know exactly how it works when a claim is presented to a hosting company about one of their clients, when the underlying base is a law that has no jurisdiction in the country the server is located in. There are a couple of trusted hosting companies that deal with the big movie streaming sites you see online that do well with handling a bit of pressure, but it's merely a shrug.

You answered your own question, if you have even a TINY bit of doubt, move on. If legal issues come into play I'd suggest you stay well clear.
 
if you have any doubt to get caught dont take risk, otherwise there are many ways to get domain hosting in private place i took .ca domain in PK without any documentation and did few deals through it and trash it away there are many local reseller of hosting which provide cheap hosting they are not concern what you are doing on hosting

From what I remember that can still cause you legal issues. I'm pretty sure some webmasters have tried that but ended up with fines.

I haven't purchased anything yet, I've literally just finished programming the whole CMS, and have around 8,000 movies in the database with site design complete and its now running, automated on my local machine. I am planning to get offshore hosting from a DMCA protected hosting service outside of the United States in a country with no strict policy about movie streaming sites, and I'm going to be using the .is or .to domain name as they have anonymous whois domain registration. I'm also thinking of either using a prepaid gift card or BTC to pay for the hosting/domain just in case, but I think having hosting outside of DMCA jurisdiction is good enough, but you can never be too safe :)

The site is also going to be in the grey area of DMCA, as it isn't strictly against it. I have a takedown policy page on the site which says that none of the material is directly hosted by me so if the person making the DMCA claim wants links removed, they will be removed if they have a valid claim. Takedown policies put websites in the grey area - unlike some like Watchfree which are completely blackhat.

I've also done research on the big movie streaming sites, and most of them use Cloudflare to mask themselves from their real hosting, but any beginner networker can easily figure out how to work around that to find their real hosting. Their real hosting is off-shore, usually in Russia, and the domain names are usually never .com or .net, etc. Mostly .to and .is.
