Hi,

I was looking around for a while now for a guide on how to make an android phone to act as a proxy server. Didn't find much information about that on google nor bhw, would be glad if someone helped with this question. Also, I'd like to add, I wasn't sure where to post this thread so I'm sorry beforehand if this isn't the correct section.

Do You have more than one IP address routed to Your phone ? I gues no.
Only way is to add a VPN in your iPhone's settings, then use your iPhone as a hotspot for your laptop computer. Provided the VPN is configured to route all traffic through it, this will also route your laptop's traffic though the VPN.

VPN is way to go if thats what You looking for.

Try to search on Google: proxy server ubuntu squid.

You can do it with a small VPS on your computer, connect your phone/dongle and configure squid with that connection. It's not so easy but if you figure it out, you have a 4G proxy. You need a dongle for extra stability.

Idea: Raspberry Pi 3 with Squid installed + Phone that acts as WiFi Hotspot. Connect RB with Phone via WiFi and it should work with no problems

Yea better idea if OP doesn't want to leave on PC 24h a day.

Haha guys , I was faster than your posts. Already bought raspberry pi and ordered the dongle today.
Thanks anyway.

I'm having problems connecting to the RPi even though the 4G and WiFi works, something with port-forwarding. I tried using squid and tinyproxy. The stick is Huawei E3372. If anyone could help me - please, do! haha
