Creating a brand new PBN for a local contractor

I was thinking of spinning up 2-5 local sites to create links for a new local contractor. I have a lot of rankings for page 1 at the bottom and im hoping this will push them up to top3.

Im curious if anyone has recent experience creating brand new domains and using them for some link juice ... im thinking long term they can be part of a much larger personal pbn but im also curious how long it will take to push up a website that has fairly low competition.

So I don't have 1:1 experience with what you are talking about, but something similar.

I have a whole bunch of 1 page local business websites, and during my testing I also acquired a nice expired domain in the same niche. I used this expired domain to create a directory style website so that I could list some of the sites that I own and see how the link juice does.

Below is rankings for a 1 page site that started doing better when it got a homepage link. On the flip side, I also created some inner pages on the expired domain site to see if they would rank better than my brand new 1 page websites and I was slightly surprised to see the inner pages were not ranking too well.

Ultimately I think the city for this service is too large and I will continue to focus on smaller population areas.

PBN's use to be reliable.
