Creating a banner for BST

I want to learn creation of banner just like the BST threads in BHW. What will I have to learn and some sources like popular channels on YouTube or so ?

Learn how to use photoshop.

Photoshop on mid/pro level. X months of learning. I have a friend who is now working as designer. He was learning ~ 2 years before he was good enough to get full time job.

Best way to do this for beginners and especially people who do not have photoshop is Canva

Look at the best performing BST and try to use that as inspiration for your own BST.

I do this myself and get the best results this way.

Obviously, you could have a more fancy one and perhaps better looking with photoshop, but Canva does the job just as good and is easy to use.
