Hello all. I am new around here, but this is my second time working with Shopify & Oberlo and I have to say that I'm pretty comfortable with the process of adding products, fixing the theme, etc. However, I have run into quite the obstacle: I do not know how to get traffic to my site.

I have created an instagram page and facebook page for my site yesterday and I will begin to post frequently on both in order to create a following. Although this is a step in the right direction, I feel as though it's the slowest way to gain traffic (no ads so far, no SEO, no promotions, just plain ole' posts).

I usually refrain from posting on forums in order to find some sort of advice, but I feel like this site has quite the collection of intellectual users, and so here I am.

Thank you for your time, and I hope I can find some sort of assistance!

The fastest way would be facebook ads, there are plenty of youtube video to start learning how to start

Also paid shout outs on IG/FB/Twitter etc.

Before spending any money though, I would make sure your site is 100% ready and people are likely to order from it. The number of times I've seen people launch a marketing campaign for a website that is not likely to attract many sales is quite scary.

Check out some shopify journeys in the My Journey section, there're a lot of useful tips how to get traffic there. And btw, you should have grown a FB page/ instagram before launching your store. it will take some time to build a fan base.

Pinterest, Fb, Instagram will be the best options to drive traffic to your website.

I bought a helicopter but I have no idea how to fly it...

Next time research everything before you jump-start into something because you read some success story which gave you that false hype.

Hey @zzzFlame1

Try using MassPlanner for you instagram account/accounts. This is a great automation bot, by this method I get about 25 visits/IG account/day.

If you need more info you can shoot me a pm.

Good luck!
Alex

launch fb ads and try to target you audience properly, do a bit of keyword research and find low comp- mid comp high searches keywords and rank your site, do IG shoutouts only on pages with good engagement but first take a look at their activities for a couple of days and you can also look into Pinterest

Simple thing dude , to get traffic go for jv ,

If not possible then tie up with a established brand of shopify store. Just go search ..

You can drive traffic by eBay and Amazon too. Sell those product on Amazon or eBay and link your sites.

Link your site in your amazon description? That sounds like a ban. Is there somewhere else to put it?
