How does much it cost to create a token?
So what I can do with the token? Can I list it on exchanges like ERC-20 token?

It costs 10000 HTZ coins to publish a token. People can use the tokens for a myriad of uses eg; obviously a crypto currency, use as a reward token for an offline business or even in the education space as a way to teach crypto..up to your imagination really. If wanting to list on exchange I think there is an exchange that is mentioned on the website to list it. Can read on the site here.

the chain is HTZ which is a full Level 1 Blockchain so it supports token creation not unlike eth. One big difference is that HTZ has no gas fees, so you get feeless peer to peer transfers. Also it is carbon neutral blockchain platform because it runs a dPOS which is much more energy efficient than ETH POS...so no mining required to secure the blockchain. On that chain it allows token creation so a person could create their own token. they have a option to list the token that a person creates on an exchange listed on the token creation page, its catex, i put the screen cap in post above.

If you want to build a new token, using a chain that's already unknown might not be the best idea and multiplies the risk by 100 fold.

Bitcoin (the blockchain) is the network of computers that validate any BTC (the token) transaction.
So there are other blockchains that can support multiple token transfers. The value of the token is not related to the network. It all depends on the developers and what utility they give to the tokens.
To sum it up: a token is not like Bitcoin, it's a small part of what Bitcoin offers

People are entitled to their opinions and I respect that. ETH has an issue with gas fees which is well known, also like BTC it uses a lot of energy..just ask Elon

Yeah thats one way of looking at it. from my understanding the main feature will be the DeFi platform. I am actually surprised that some of the members here cant see the potential of the token creation, I mean even for offline businesses as a service, like reward points or in the education space the ability to create a token for a club or association that could be redeemed or exchanged for a reward. I heard one guy is integrating his own token into a pedometer app, and users can redeem the tokens with his advertising partners.
