Create Satellite Website

Hello, I have a fashion blog. Now I create more sub-websites and then point them to the main website. I share the sub-websites on social networks and get traffic from there. Then they go to the sub-websites and point them to the main website. Is that good for SEO? I'm quite hesitant because creating sub-websites is very time-consuming.

whether it's good or bad, do this if you takes too much time you simply share your main website on your social network and get same level traffic... ;)
 
Creating sub-websites can help target specific audiences, but it’s time-consuming and not always SEO-efficient. Search engines treat subdomains separately, so they don’t directly boost your main site’s rankings. If it feels too laborious, consider using subdirectories instead—they’re less intensive and still good for SEO. Keep your content relevant and optimized for the best results.
 
What matters is not how many different sites link to your site, but the quality of the links. If you are producing good content on your sub-sites, continue to do so.

Let me ask you, where are backlinks usually built from? I thought building satellite websites would point backlinks to the main website.

And Backlinks are typically built from authoritative websites, blogs, news platforms, and good quality backlinks. Satellite websites can work, but links from credible, established sources are more effective. Thanks.

I wouldn't call them sub-websites (as you caused confusion as people thought you were talking about sub-domains).
Yes, it's time consuming as if you make 10 sites, you need to rank and work on 10 sites, it's like your mini PBN which actually ranks. A time consuming exercise but really good.

OP is NOT talking about sub-domains. He's talking about satellites. Two totally different things.

Once again, sub-domains are not worth it but satellite sites work really well. Basically, you get links from ranking sites in your niche.
 
You're basically referring to a PBN, make your research about it,
With fresh domains, it wouldn't pass as much link juice, neither will be working wonders,

The time, efforts & money put in to make these websites for a small amount of link juice/authority passed won't make it worth it,
It's better to actually get auction/expired domains that already hold and can pass good amount of authority,

The whole idea about social media traffic doesn't make much sense either,
If you're going after traffic, then simply use your website(s) links to get the traffic directly,
If you're doing that for SEO, the traffic would be better to be driven to your main website(s),
PBNs are meant to pass link juice from their link profile(s)

If you have content on your sub websites then yes it works.

seoer create a lot of website 2.0, but i don't know how they can manage them or post articles, maybe they use some software
