Create new website with lots of content how ?

I am starting a new website with articles about wordpress, photoshop tutorials and some more, but i have a few questions.

1) Would i need a new domain or a domain that has been expired, and what are the factors to look in then, DA and PA what is better for seo ?

2) Would writing 500 -700 word articles with 5 - 10 seo friendly images be enough to rank the article / website or is more needed ?

3) Would adding 3 - 5 articles a day be seen as to much content at once ?

4) What is the most important factor for SEO if putting only articles on a website, the on-page optimization or backlinks ?

1. you can start a new domain but domains that are older can help rank your pages
2. you don't need 500 words per article or 5 images per page. there is no magic number for this. Some pages with 3-5 sentences can rank up higher than a 500 word article.
3. No, i think that's decent.
4. I like to focus on on-page optimization making sure every thing is done right and is friendly to Google crawler. Backlinks should be done after but remember that quality > quantity.

If you are going you use an expired domain, make sure that the domain doesn't have a whole bunch of spam links. I would recommend articles that are 700+ words. You can rank with smaller articles but google is starting to favor longer articles. You will find that the longer articles will have better ranking power and hold up longer.

I was wondering the same thing as the OP. I also heard that longer articles are better but that it is best to split them up into smaller segments each with it''s own page. If true, this is confusing to me. I know, as a reader, I hate having to click through ti multiple pages just to read on article.

It's good to have an aged domain than buying an expired domain. Go with the tutorial word in domain and build it. Writing more articles per day is good, but you have to be patience and it doesn't need more words as we need to provide the correct answer for the reader.

Old domain is better option. For articles, words don't matter. What you have to consider is the quality of those articles. Adding few content per day is good thought.

Yes 1k+ words article do much better as compared to short 500 words articles. Go for weekly updates at your website for max results
