Yeah this works really well with the dots and a super long email like [email protected]. That's 29 emails right there. The "+" variation doesn't always work though.
What you can also do is create a catch all subdomain email like [email protected]. xxxx can be anything you make up on the spot...whatever you make up will forward to 1 email address you set. Pretty awesome
And it's easier to remember your Twitter accts if you reg with sth like [email protected]. Forward to 1 gmail account, then setup gmail filters for each Twitter acct to keep track of them, backup gmail filters. If for any reason the gmail account is hacked/gone, forward the subdomain catch all to another gmail, then import back the gmail filters.
There's prob an easier way to do it, but this works well for me.
