Create Landing Pages

I tested some landing page generators, but they are either very limited or too difficult to use. Maybe I should switch to a real web designing program.

What can you recommend? Are they a lot more difficult to use?

You can find some quality templates online,
ider free or premium. Than you just have to
adopt them to your needs. There are lot of
resources and a lot of choices just search for
it. Maybe even try Wordpress, Drupal or Joomla,
they all have templates or plugins for one page
websites.
