No they wont ban you, one company can have similar content across social media and there's absolutely no issues with it.

Are there any hints on how to avoid that? Something easy/time-consuming if possible...
Don't post TikTok watermark on IG, use software/website to remove it.
So is simply posting on IG first, and then on Tiktok, might be a workaround for this?

Isn't that only if you use TikTok to make the vid then put it on Insta due to the watermark?
I'd personally do TikTok first, then I'll download & repurpose to IG
May I ask what's the point of posting on Tiktok first?
There'd be extra work with repurposing...

Yeah that seems silly to me you'd have to get the TT watermark off.
I only started trying IG and my methods been to throw the vid together in Canva with no sound then upload to TT and IG adding the sound there so their system plays nice with it. It's working so far.
