I made a lot of karma points (over 10K) with uploadung interesting questions and cute animals photos (recorded by myself) in corresponding subreddits. Now i want to make the next step to 100K karma points and want to use NFSW Subreddits for it. It seems that in the corresponding subreddits self-created gif videos are posted (of videos from corresponding sexy websites). How to create short Gif videos from videos (maximum length about one minute? After the Gif has been created: How can you upload the created Gif to Reddit? Can it only be done with Redgifs -> Upload Gif and insert link in Reddit post? Could there possibly be problems with copyright etc.?

You can use ffmpeg to both edit the video and convert to gif format, You should be able to upload them directly to reddit using the mobile app.

Any video app from the App Store android store will work for this. you just need to chop it up after a few seconds for a gif or if you want sound use mp4 file format. I believe you will need to use a 3rd party site to upload the gif as I don't think reddit allows you to upload nsfw content to their servers. I could be wrong about that though.

Its since 1 year ago they dont accept hosting it on reddit anymore, same goes for imgur. It was in the same update when they killed all the small 3rd party businesses with making the API very expensive.
you also have to be logged in to see NSFW,... because of this update a reddit site wide strike started.
