Hello everyone

Does anyone know how to create facebook page to be on like, not on follow?

My friend told me that she can create every page to be on like. I tried to create but its on follow

Pretty sure facebook pages just default to 'follow' now for new ones, that 'like' button as the main thing is kinda old school. Your friend might be talking about old pages or just got it twisted

Go to the page settings to display the ‘Like’ button instead of the ‘Follow’ button.

I don't think we have a choice

unless you choose to increase likes for your fanpage using clone accounts.
 
Have you tried getting old page that has the like button in the past?
 
You access (...) -> Action Button -> Remove and add the like button as you desire.

honestly your friend might just have an older page that defaulted to "like" before meta switched things up, because they removed the like button option for new pages when they rolled out the new pages experience a couple years back. i ran into this exact same thing when i tried setting up a fresh brand page for a client and spent like 45 mins digging through settings thinking i missed something. new pages just dont have the like option anymore, its follow only now so you're not doing anything wrong.
 
Facebook has now updated the "like" button to "follow".
 
Facebook basically phased out the 'like' button as the primary thing for new pages a while ago, now everything's about 'follows', so your friend might be talking about old page types or just got it mixed up
 
fb has been force-rolling the new pages experience for a while now, which likes with follows

your friend might be using aged accounts that still have the classic layout enabled, which is rare now
