I have seen a lot of tricks here to create content without the need to put lots of effort e.g. writing articles based on youtube videos or amazon reviews. I personally think about translating, what do you think about translating english articles to your native language? can they catch you copying others? will you get punished by google? I don't mean translating them word by word but essentially say the same thing on your own language. I think since I can use two languages, I can take advantage of this.

Can I build a solid business based on this? Like an amazon review blog.

Do not translate directly. You can use by following way. Example French to dutch, then dutch to other language. It is somewhat safe.

I do it all the time. No problem, content ranks like clockwork. But please do not use google translate. Find someone from Upwork or fiverr, test them out before handling them bigger orders. And 100% You should use the advantage that you can speak and write multiple languages. Oh and btw, i have done this three years now :)

Ive recently been wondering/brainstorming about this subject as well. Not as much for an SEO boost, but merely for opening up our network to new affiliate GEOs. My fear is that I will get a bunch of new users that I cannot communicate with... But then I wonder if maybe using the ads in a native lingo and hoping the user may also understand some english...? Idk...? Any thoughts?

That will definitely fly. Use a reliable translator, though, so that the native speakers won't poke fun at you.

Why not?

But remember, copying from one source is plagiarism. Copying from multiple source is called research.

Use at least 2-4 sources to beef up your content and you will leave your competitors behind.
