Hi i have 2 sites, one new and one with penalty from google but has PR 3. same niche. Is it stupid to create a backlink from the penalized site to the new one to pass some linkjuice? or is the linkjuice gone?

Also i have build maybe 15 web 2.0 wordpress-blogs in good quality, they all point to the penalized site, should i redirect them instead to the new site? Would that hurt?

Thanks guys

i wouldn't put a link on a penalized site.. i don't know for sure if it hurts or not, it is just one of those common sense things i feel i shouldn't do..

Dont redirect links from your penalized site to your new site

yeahh me too, i thought i would ask here first :)

These days people tend to mistake the word "penalty" due to the consistent updates that falls web ranking..

If your site is still indexed but doesn't rank well then your site hasn't been penalized.

Majority of the sites that lost ranking where not penalized but were tanked for bad links which naturally
bounce back after either cleaning up the backlink profiles, neutralizing with diverse links and anchor or
using authority backlinks.

I hope these clears up the myth.

Yeahh okay, im indexed but has no longer rankings. Still stupid to link from that site to a new?

You are good to go....

Each time i see lots of misconception been spread around the forum, i begin to wonder the fate of the young internet entrepreneurs.

If anything happens in the process hold me responsible, IF you are truly indexed.

That's all.

If it's on a different host: do it. Otherwise: minimal benefit, some risk.
