Hello all. I am a graphic designer and I make money designing flyers, business cards, etc and sometimes dropship printed products to my customers from my vendor. I also sell digital templates of some of my designs on Etsy which does pretty good.

I also started doing tutorials on youtube but now want to take it more serious to try and monetize it. I am looking to create a small course that I can package and sell to subscribers and followers. I would like to show people how they too can start a graphic design business even if they don't have graphic skills.

Has anyone ever packaged a course and sold it? If so how did you get started and what model did you use? Just looking for a little direction. Thanks.

I see other creative experts doing this all the time. They all use gumroad.com.
You can make the course in any format you want. PDF or MP4. 1 big file or multiple files. Multiple formats.
Maybe you've even seen other people promoting their gumroad courses. If not, I would research your competition. Eventually you will find one selling a course. From there you can reverse engineer it, study it, clone it, take ideas from it, and be more prepared to successfully launch yours. Or simple google search--- https://www.google.com/search?q=site:gumroad.com+graphic+design Good luck.

Hey there, I like the idea of the course if you already have a following, but don't be like mos tsmall creators who put their courses on gumroad and such with some generic descriptions.

If you're going to be spending money on your traffic, then you need to make sure your copy is doing a good job at selling your product. I'm a copywriter, working full time with a big agency and do freelance stuff on the side. If you want me to craft a money-printing description for your upcoming course, DM me.

PS: better yet, reach out to me on discord, I'm rarely here: Lumière#5171
