I had a crypto client and we wanted to make some buzz, so we added $5 or 10 to paper wallets and gave them away in a few areas right next to some news agencies. Got some sweet media coverage. In the following months we made about $2000 for every dollar spent.

I had a very powerful high-karma Reddit account that I used to promote some meme coins I invested in. After a couple of hours, I received multiple offers in my DMs from coin makers and promoters to post for them as well and that paid handsomely. Made decent bucks back in 2021 with this.
