Crawled- Currently Not Indexed , but appears on Google Search !

Hey lads,
i crawled a link on my website , no ai generated post , high-quality text and it says that its not indexed on GSC.
suddenly , i've searched on google with the attached link, it appeared without any changes!
then i inspect the url again on GSC , still "Crawled- Currently Not Indexed"

is this normal, or Google is glitching?

This happens when Google has crawled the page and temporarily ranks it, but hasn’t fully processed it in Search Console yet.
 
Yes, this is normal. GSC can lag behind what Google actually shows in search results. “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed” often just means Google hasn’t updated the index status in GSC yet, even if the page is already discoverable. Nothing to worry about if it shows up in search.
 
Yeah this happens sometimes.
Google Search Console not always real-time, can show "Crawled-Currently Not Indexed" even if page appear in Google. It could be delay in GSC update or small glitch. As long as link shows in search, no need worry much. Just keep monitoring, GSC will update status later.

this is normal. sometimes Google shows a page in search even if GSC hasn’t updated its status yet—GSC can lag behind actual indexing by a few days.
 
Yeah bro, that can happen. Google Search Console isn’t always 100% in sync with what’s showing live in the index.

Why it happens:
  • Temporary lag – GSC can show “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed” even if the URL is already searchable.
  • Partial indexing – Sometimes the page is “soft indexed” (visible by direct URL search) but not fully added to the index for ranking.
  • Glitches – Normal with GSC, especially on new content.
What I do:
  • Don’t panic — if you can find it in Google, it’s indexed at some level.
  • Keep building internal links and wait a bit — it usually resolves itself.
  • If after a few weeks it’s still stuck, refresh the content slightly and request indexing again.
So yeah, it’s pretty normal - not your fault, just Google being Google.

this seems a bug started from last week. all my sites, even in different GSC accounts are having this issue.
the good thing is new posts / edited old posts are crawled and indexed and ranked well still within 24 hours or less.
but GSC still shows its not crawled - currently not indexed.

Also, starting August 07th Google confirmed another bug where googlebot reduce crawling of the entire sites. Many sites were affected and they fixed it somewhere on Sept 1 or 2nd. They public posted it.

so need to worry much.
 
Happens sometimes. GSC can lag behind so it’ll still say “Crawled not indexed” even though the page is actually live in search. I’ve seen it multiple times where you can find the page by exact URL search but GSC hasn’t caught up.
