On some sites, crawl activity increases while rankings remain stable.
Is this part of Google’s re-evaluation phase?
At this stage, do you wait it out or make adjustments?

Crawling doesnot mean the rank will improve straight away but is an indicia that the google consider your site and may improve later the ranking but is not a guaranteed. So is normal
