Does anyone just buy real traffic and drive it to BANS-type sites or MFA sites? It seems pretty basic but I'm wondering if it works in at least the smallest sense.

If you do this, how profitable is it and are there better traffic suppliers than others?

It is not really targeted traffic so it would not convert well.

I was thinking more along the lines of sheer numbers. Since many people already have an e*gay acct, getting people to at least click an affiliate link would hopefully pay off somewhere.

Probably a crappy idea but was curious what others thought.

no, you will lose the epn account. they will say the traffic is not 'engaged' and not what they're looking for.

yeah they are very perticular on how well engaged your traffic is

Ebay throws a big fit over "Quality traffic", they wont tell you what quality traffic is though.

You need a good mixture of real traffic, Yeah REAL - Get a little SEO work done

- Build some backlinks
- Swap links with some site in the same niche
- Buy some links on a directory site
- Write articles on high PR article submission sites, this will make backlinks

When sending your fake traffic stay away from Mainstream sites like buyhitshcheap or sites like that. I would also stay away from popunders, these are worthless.

Also look for posts mentioning bans and what sites they were using.

While using B.A.N.S software change the code as much as you can.

- Remove the (Built on Build a Niche Store Software link)

- Add your own code or links on the page so google doesnt see the same structure of thousands of other sites out there like yours.

Hope all goes well..

Hope to post more info for anyone who needs it.

I though that they would ban you if traffic converts too well not if it does not convert well? Right?

ebay doesn't tell it's EPN members what they're looking for. No one knows and people are getting banned that are very successful and those that aren't. I have heard that it's the quality of traffic AND the EPC (earnings per click) that they look at. My EPC is at about $11.95 and I worry all the time that they'll ban me because the EPC is not high enough.

All I can say is that I didn't change a thing when CJ left and EPN took over. And my clicks are down as is my revenue every month. I have no way of knowing if EPN is reporting all of my stats accurately.

This isn't about EPN, but I was banned recently from a domain parking company because they said, "my traffic was junk and the feed provider requested I be removed and my account closed".

Interesting, I had been with them almost 5 years, pulled modest income every month ($345/mo avg) and had never had complaints or received any emails that they were unhappy with my stuff or where I was getting my traffic.

Just shows that "those with the gold makes the rules" and "you gotta diversify".

:)

yes, its true.

High EPC, good coversions point towards stuffing perhaps,

and ultra low also points to the same thing.

What you want to do is keep it legit as possible and keep changing little by little until they say a thing or until something happens.

Always move slowly.

I worked over 3 months to get my traffic high and my EPC high.

If you jump into it and pull a $40 EPC month 1 then you might find yourself being investigated.

I have two months history.
Both are over $40 EPC.
I was worrid that it is too high and was thinking to lower it.
Now it looks like low is not good either.
What gives??

I send some of my excess pr0n traffic to a few targeted bans sites and have been having great success with earnings. I did this because I dont manage my pr0n sites anymore like I used to, so this keeps them profitable for me. Sure its not thousands a month, but its a nice chunk of cash for doing absolutely nothing every day.
