Went out with a couple of friends yesterday. They are all fellow blackhat IM'ers and at one point we had a discussion going on about content, prices, writers and how "content is king" blah blah.. One of these guys actually said his best performing adsense sites run on the poorest content. Sure, it's a tad harder to rank bad content but this is the theory behind it (according to him): Visitors read the first paragraph, realize what they are reading is BS and then start looking for an alternative. Placing an adsense block after that first paragraph is like providing them the alternative and rockets CTR.

Anyone experience with this? I'm currently testing out several writers to get the best price value but this just confuses me.

This does sounds interesting but it wont be good in the long run , visitors will not comeback to your blog/site because they know your content is shit but thats just my opinion ,

So I guess this isn't something new.. well I fell out of the sky. Been busting myself and paying loads of money to find decent content, turns out BS content is better :D But I still prefer quality content

Did anyone try this with autoblogs? Because that's the crappiest content :)

you make a good point, im a content ed, former traditional media editor and i would continually see very poor content rank well against great written news content etc.

Not sure but I think autoblog content is taking it a bit too far. You'd have to get them to read the first paragraph after all.

Agreeing Somewhat, Incomplete Information in your post can get you more clicks.. You make sure you give Some Good information in your post but incomplete, visitors Would want to get more info about it.

This might force them to search around the whole page which may end up clicking on your ad.
