Jon Stewarts opinions on the markets are so bang on. It's funny how comedy news is more correct than 'real' news. This reminds me of circle jerks, people abusing their power/undeserved reputation to make money off newbies who believe that they are receiving ALL the information they need to make good financial decisions.

It's funny, but in the long run, Craimer is still the go to guy for the market. Wish I could stuff his show:)

i've never been a huge fan of cramer or stewart for that matter but cramer looked and acted like a fucking 10 year old called into the principals office. i'll give him credit for at least having the balls to show up.

its easy to look back and say....look what the market did...how the fuck come you didn't see that coming. Cramer was a pus on that show...

My question to Stewart...where the fuck were you 12 months ago...why didn't you sound the warning that everyone was going to lose all their money.

Where does Stewart think will be 12 months from now? Step up..be a man and let us know what you think based on your vast experience.

Its easy to be a monday night quarterback. Assess the market, decide what you believe will happen then speak your mind...don't come to me a week after barn burns down...and tell me the fire destroyed my barn...tell me where the next fucking fire will be.

All that being said....this is a great opportunity for those with the balls to step up assess the situation and start buying some stock...the next 5 years will generate quite a few millionaires ( those that take responsibility for their own life)

Cramer told everyone to sell way before the market collapsed.

Cramer is a good ole' pump and dumper. So many people have lost fortunes because of him. Go and read the Yahoo Finance msg board of any major stock and I bet their all bashing him.

Ummm....that's because Stewart doesn't claim to be a fucking EXPERT on the topic. Cramer does....most of CNBC does.

That's the whole point. Apparently you missed it. Don't feel bad, you weren't the only one.

The ONLY person I heard sound the alarm for REAL, not half-assed like Cramer and a few others, was Peter Schiff - and when he did WARN people all the other so-called EXPERTS, pundits, and media talking heads laughed at him and acted like he was a crazy person.

The proof is out there, check out Youtube. In hindsight, it's almost funny how correct Schiff was and how stupid all these other losers were.

The unfortunate part of the whole thing was Cramer, almost alone, seemed to take the brunt of things in the media, when in fact, Stewart was attacking and ridiculing the entire network of CNBC and certain elements of Wall Street that have conflicts of interest.

Leave it to the pathetic "gossip" US media to turn a serious issue into "Stewart VS Cramer" as if it was a boxing match or a catfight between 2 materialistic celebrity cunts.

That said, Cramer is pretty well known as a pump and dumper, and isn't shy about manipulating certain aspects of the market....the clips Stewart sprung on Cramer proved that. Although....compared to some others out there, he is a minnow swimming with sharks.

As for Stewart...well, he proved once again that while he hosts a little comedy goof off show, he may just be the best journalist we have at the moment. More of these so-called real journalists should follow his lead and start grilling people and asking tough questions. Problem is they are all tied so heavily to big business and the corporate world that they choose instead to kiss ass.

I hear ya man....I know that I look to the Comedy channel for my financial advice....wow!

If you watch the Daily Show at all or even paid attention to this interview with Cramer, the issue isn't so much with him, it is with CNBC and all the other mainstream news organizations. It's scary that a comedian has to be the one to call the networks out on this sort of thing.

It amazes me that anyone in their right mind would go on The Daily Show or The Colbert Report and think they're gonna style and profile on them.

Lotta people don't realize that it may be comedy, true... but it's also bait. Being satirists means that they can deliberately cross that line without someone breathing down their necks for it... all the while catching some unassuming schmuck unaware.

Cramer said it himself "oh noooo I got critiqued by a comedian... he runs a VARIETY SHOW!"

well, joke's on you, Jack. lol Those "comedians" on Comedy Central are Vash the Stampeding it. Goofy and unassuming? Yep. Smart as hell and angerous as fuck? Definitely.

I am a huge Colbert and Stewart fan and have been for years. I agree that people who don't do their homework about them before going on the show will be hammered by them. Those that understand them though can use them to their advantage. Like I give Cramer credit for going on. He was owned all week long by Stewart (leading up to the "smackdown") and he came on like a man and got to say his piece. I am quite sure CNBC didn't like the interview but at least he stepped up.

One of my favourite linew was when Stewart called Joe Scarborough "Doucheborough" LOL.

Still, one of my all time favourites was when Stewart went on Crossfire (if you guys can remember that show). Many say that it led to the show being cancelled. Here is a link to that appearance if anyone is interested: http://www.spike.com/video/jon-stewart-on/2652831

No one knows how to deal with a funny guy who happens to be smart, have to watch what you say when you get on the show.

Conan O'brien would 'pawn' them all. He's the top ass of all asses.
I would pay to see Colbert, Conan and John in the same room discussing what jokes to use about Jay Leno's chin.

Hopefully Stewart keeps the press on Doucheborough because that poser tool deserves it.

He sits there everyday with Zbigniew's daughter and feed people an endless buffet of nonsense. Those two media-robots are turning morning "news" into the equivalent of 5th grade gossip.

Zbig's pawn, errr....daughter, sits there some days and acts like she's "normal" American downhome girl-next-door.....LOL!
