Craigslist Question about images.

I am getting ready to post an ad on Craigslist for my legit online/offline biz. I was going to use all text with a link to my website.But just in case that ad gets yanked-I want a backup plan.

I've seen ads with a clickable image- how do you make the clickable image?

Simply use the HTML below. The first part is where the click will take them, and the second part is where the image is hosted.

You can either upload an image yourself to a free uploading site or you can grab any pic on the net. Just go to the pic and right click go to properties and get the location of the image.

Also remember, the code above will work, but add to the image part: border="0" so you don't get a big ugly border around it.

Could would look like: <a href="http://www.mysite.com"><img src="image1.jpg" border="0"></a>

Another thing worth noting is that if you are going to be posting multiple ADs (10+) for this same website/offer - Upload your image sever times to an image host (www.imageshack.com or www.photobucket.com).

Upload the image 5-10 times, each time renaming the JPG file before uploading it. Make sure the image file name is very long, random and unique, ie: oasjbafvefiue9o854vewo83gu.jpg and pelsdmmvfnieuwiuefbi95948.jpg

This way you get very unique URL links when posting in your ADs. This makes for less ghosting which is always a good thing.
