I can't get any posts up in the employment sections anymore and I don't know why.

I'm trying to post in the "etc jobs" area, and it will only show up in my own state, then the rest are ghosted.

I change my IP after every 3 posts, I have unique ad body, rotating fresh emails, I stager posts through the day.

What gives!? Anyone have any suggestions on how to get them live?

Just a quick note, that I can post in other sections in multiple states just fine. It's only the jobs area that keeps ghosting me.

They've made alot of changes in the job posting sections. My suggestion is use the Items Wanted Category, tons of visitors there and you can make sure it gets posted. I tried the jobs section and never had anything get posted.

Craigslist Hit Counters are good to place in your ads as well, so you can track the views I use the transparent one so it doesn't get flagged by the idiots on there.

Are you putting your domain link in your post?

If anyone is having link problems you may use a blogger link and redirect the blogger site to your domain so CL thinks its a blog domain, but it automatically redirects to your money site.

Also you can post an ad (with your money site link) and take the CL link of the ad ( don't let this ad go live) and use that link and put it in all your other live craigslist ads.

When your putting the unpublished CL link in your live ads that will get around the link problem and automatically direct the prospect to the unpubished ad with your money site link.

The live ads will have a link directly from CL so they won't be banning or blocking it.

Its a 2 step process, but it works. Keeping up with CL changes is a full time job in itself and is quite annoying...

Yes I've tried using the blogger trick, and not using any links at all. Still not going through...

are you cleaning out your cache after the postings??? as that could definitely be a problem...

i don't know i tried for the hell of it about a week ago posting a job ad in the Vancouver BC Canada, using a ip address out of Seattle and my ad went live. I thought that was really weird, as i was able to post in Canada using a US ip address..

they got some weird stuff going on there lately

Hey Spector... if you have US based proxies or an IP address, you can post anywhere on Craigslist in the world. I've posted in China and India just because.
    :)

As far as the job postings section. They've definitely tightened on their filters. I've tried and analyzed posts in my spare timie for 4 days. I finally got it going today.

Where you using any hidden text and color other than black?

I think they are definitely ghosting ads outside of primary colors...with the exception of 1 color. I don't know what the code is but I'll do some more testing... it looks like it's white with a peach or yellow tinge to it.

Are you using any image ads? If you're hosting your own images, you have a better chance of it not ghosting.

Watch out for key phrases that are unique to your ad. Craigslist is master at this to get you ghosted. You could have a common 3 word phrase in your ad that makes YOUR ad unique. They will block accordingly if it's posted a few times (like more than once).

Want to see if your ad will really stick? Cut and paste text off any website or news page and post that with no color, html coding or anything like that.

If it goes live then you know it's not your IP address.

Next, post a different set of garbage text and a hosted image ad. If it ghosts then the problem is the image or where it's hosted.

If it works then its something in your ad copy or certain words that they banned.

You did not say if your are clearing your cookies. I read that somewhere that you should do this when you change your IP address.

I didn't clear my cookies. I use proxies if that means anything. But I did do it also on my regular IP and both went through once I figured out what was wrong.
