I received the following in response to a listing which I posted on CL, from:

"Now from what I saw in the posting from Craig's List, you seem to be operating a scam business. You don't know who I am but I know who you are. I have a proposition for you. You give me money and I won't rat you out to the authorities. People such as yourself should be ashamed. This is not a joke. Do you really want to see how much of a joke it is? I'll give you details on where to send the money. Think about what I said and get back to me ASAP."

Why don't a bunch of you "get back" to him?

LMFAO thats the funniest thing i have ever seen.. Tell him you know who he is and you know where he lives and he better give you money before you go over and pay him a visit. People will believe some crazy shit..
 
Unreal. How low are some people getting. Sounds like he's going through CL and targeting people who he can extort money from. Post back how this ends.
 
Hell I would play along and get the details on where to send the money, Then BAM, ya got him, Of course make up a BS email.

I'd report him to the authorities. Internet stalking/harassment is illegal. This guy sounds like a whacko.

this is why I don't even check the email I get from CL.

More times than not, I never re-use the same email addy twice, so I wont ever see this horse sh*t.
 
I would ask him for the address to send the money... Then I would have all 4 of my dogs take a shit in a box... Drop a "Happy Holidays" card in the box and send it on over to him.

They didn't make Hotmail...they bought it for about $400M. I remember thinking what a dumbass I was for not writing my own web-based email at the time. Go figure.

yea this isnt a new scam...i have seen people post things like this before. They are just trying to intimidate you. just ignore it and move on with your life
