Craigslist - Email/Reply Problem

Hello,

why does it take so long to receive answers on craigslist?

I sometimes i get 100s of replies to an ad in one day. Another day i wont get a single reply. (to the same ad)

I heard of many people having the same problem. Its something with the email system.

What is it and how can i work around it?

Best way around it is to just give people an email address to which they can respond in the ad. If you have decent hosting, then you can create a lot of email addresses. So, just make one email addresses specifically for CL responses and tell people to send responses directly to that email.
