I need an opinion on something.

If there was a program that harvested emails on Craigslist by collecting a custom quantity of pages from the directory of a category, then going through each page it collected, parsing email addresses (CL emails will be sorted from genuine ones, you can save both) out for use however someone would see fit later. Then it would switch categories and start again.

What sort of draw would this hypothetical program have do you suppose? Any hypothesis?

Thanks in advance.

If you could separate them by category it would have infinite possibilities because they actually want to be emailed and inquired about.

That means. NO SPAM.

It would be an amazing amazing tool.

Well it's been developed and it's available to be revised to suit someone's needs. The features described above are the programs current abilities.

Contact me if interested.

Well you can view a video of it in action here: hxxp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EA3tvZMEWaE

The first post when I started the thread is the skinny on it. If you have any specific questions I can answer. It scans each page it collects (you set how many to collect) in a certain category (you choose) and collects all the emails and CL emails (sorts to 2 lists) and you can save these emails lists for use in other programs! How great?

It changes categories when it runs out of pages to scan and grabs another 1000, 2000, 5000 pages (or less for small campaigns) from the next category, and continue collecting.

Thanks for your interest!

I could add that feature. It saves the list of collected emails to a text file with the category name in it, clears the list and collects another from a different category, etc, repeat.

I could definitely add that.

For BHW members it's $49.95 and includes free updates and customer support for life. What do you mean by where from? I can email it to you, send via IM, upload to my server, etc.

The additional Gumtree program is complete, available for $85 both both the Craigslist Email Harvester and the Gumtree Email Harvester. Or $49 each, only for BHW members!

Hit me up!

Gumtree site made some changes on the site the last week, is the program working correctly at this moment?

What updates were made? Also, a great feature would be the ability to ext5ract based on keywords

Discovered BHW this week, looking to enhance my craigslist email harvesting (first post!)

Question for Frequency or others... any way to tweak the Craigslist Email Harvestor to support targeting by city, or keyword? Also, I have the working demo, but it doesn't seem to pull any real addresses... (maybe the point of the demo?)

Currently I use Super Email Spider, to crawl certain CL city domains that I'm targeting. I'm only going after one specific ad category. Limitations are that it only picks up about 100 emails per city... and working with the multiple text files into excel for filtering/sorting from each output takes unnecessary time... not sure how it compares to Frequency's product.

This technique is my bread and butter for niche category marketing with fresh (real) email addresses... don't need mass volume, but quality relevance needed.

I'll support anyone that wants to expand this line of black/grey/whitehat classifieds promotion. Feel free to PM me for any classifieds related promotion/harvesting ideas.

Looking at CL or Kijiji autoposters now also

Cheers,
-Proviz

Padrino, could you PM me how to reach your person with the harvester?

Thanks,
Bang

When you spam CL emails like that, considering that they have to be routed through CL's servers, won't they flag your IP for spam fairly quick? I guess that's nothing a quick IP change wouldn't fix, though.

lol, I am still waiting on an update of this software and the Gumtree one. Been a month or so....
