WTF??? No matter how I try I can't get a simple post up.
I don't even get a flagged notice, the post just doesn't show.
I see tons of "survey" ads but I try one and it doesn't show.

I got the same problem....so bad.
the result is passively reduce my frequency of fposting...

Yup.

Craigslist is totally a fucking joke. The only way you can get your ads up now are via image ads. At least that is the only way I can get mine up anymore.

I also no longer use craigslist accounts, just random email addresses.

I've been having the same issue. Not sure whats going on.
I mean I've never spammed Craigslist before so they definitely dont have any reason to have banned me or anything like that. So I dunno whats up!

And since i am doing this via redirects and meta refresh pages to my aff, the image does nothing for me.
I agree, total fucking waste of time.

and a small cry of victory is heard in the tiny san francisco office of craigslist, the wolves are kept away, at least for now....

maybe, but what bugs me the most is that there clearly are SOME folks getting their ads to post...and with the links right in the ad!
Hmmmm....(deeply contemplates and rubs chin)

The reason why your ad isn't showing up is because it's being ghosted. This can be for a number of reasons, it could be that your IP has been banned.

Have you tried to make some junk post, without a URL?

It could also be that your URL has been banned.

Try a junk post and report back as to whether or not it stays up.

I post on CL everyday, my posts go up, and most stay up.

It might be your URL link is the problem. Try some other sites like backpage or livedeal.

If you publish your post (i.e. click link in E-mail, choose "Publish" on website), and it doesn't show up in the Category list, you've probably been ghosted.

With that said, I've waited awhile (20+ mins) for those indexes to finally appear; as the CL indexing isn't real-time. Sometimes though, your link will show up in a Search Query before the category list.

Basically, if you know you've given it plenty of time, and you can see your item via direct-URL, but it never shows up in the category list, then you're ghosted.

Work-around: try posting new text, and using a new IP address (see TOR proxy). It's also rumored that CL will prevent posts from foreign IP addresses; which is what's often provided by the TOR network.

Good Luck!!!

Yeah, in some of them I do. What I've found is that an image of the URL works best, but you can set a standard URL and have it work. Only think is if you use the same URL too much, you'll start getting your ads ghosted. So you'll need several to keep it swapped up.

yea it is worth it, but I have to post through tor now and I haven't been posting on there as much anymore.

I used to make upwards of $5000 monthly on craigslist promoting SEO. That is without an auto posting tool.

I am going to delve back into it and see what is up. I bought an ebook on the warrior forum called craigslist powerposting to never get your ads deleted, but I think that is way out of date being is that I bought it back in july or something.

edit-

CL poower posting is still being sold:

hxxp://***mwmproductreview.*com/ -- not my affiliate link, just a site I found..

Also this looks interesting:

If you can get ads to stick CL is one of the most powerful marketing tools out there..

Great article on posting on cl..

I post about 200 ads a day, with only 1-3 being deleted. You just have to know how to post them.

I just got EZADSUITE last week for autoposting..and throw up about 20 to 30 ads per day.
My first couple of ads got "ghosted"..CL runs some kind of filter that picks up on keywords or strings...so example: "Make $10,000 from home" will probably get ghosted.

I've just gotten a little more creative with my content.

I didn't feel like messing with the proxies..so I just reset my IP every 10 ads or so..keeps me under the wire.
