It only works on Paypal and they are fewer and far between. The PKCS7 encrypted ones are the real challenge. Payloadz use to have a similar code.
News flash - backdate 5 years. Highlight the paypal buy now image and some text above and below. Left click and drag to a Front page or website builder. Look into the code portion and it automatically converts the Java.

So what? They'll know that you came on their "thank you page", without knowing that you cracked the "buy now" button to get there. You could have been an actual buyer who bookmarked the page when he made his purchase to come back and download later.
They can obviously track the traffic to the thank you page, but have no way to tell the difference between those who actually paid and those who didn't

YES! LMAO when I found this yesterday. But the java search didn't show the dl page--the only thing that stopped me was that I didnt think to view the index/

As a bonus they should throw in Britney Spears' mom's book on parenting.

It just encodes the paypal form using java-script (client side).
It's easy to decode such "paylocks".

But the server-side encription is still a challenge for me.
Another thing - IPN verification...is it possible to trick it?

I downloaded many products from sites which were using 2checkout.com but I am not sure if that still works, here is an article that explains how to download fro 2checkout sites.
