Hi all,
Just a quick question, maybe some of you have ideas at how this could happen...
In around March this year I created a movies site with MoviePress and, using BHCB and CPARedirector, both tied to a URL rotator, I tried to monetise by incenting non-incent offers across many networks.
I used YT to drive traffic to "supposed" full versions of movies.
The content was some images of each movie, and direct copy and paste of IMDB info (no spinning, no original content, nothing).
To top it all, because of the BH methodology used, I created no Privacy page, no TOS page and no Contact page.
And yet, 6 months on, I check the PageRank for this site, which I long since abandoned (so now the content, as well as rubbish and unoriginal, is stagnant), and find it is PR2!!!
Does anyone have any idea why this could be? Why would the big G give a PR2 to a site which is so obviously unoriginal, and with none of the required "legalese" included?
Any hints on what may have happened would be welcome - I'm sorry, but since this is the first site I've ever achieved more than a PR0 on, I cannot post its URL, but it's pretty much exactly the same as all the other content-locked moviesitepress sites out there.
