We are currently setting up a "Funny pictures" site (9gag clone) We want to sell banners on CPM basis :)As we all know the quality of this traffic is not considered the best, so rates are low.My question is;Will advertisers accept paying the following CPM rates for display banners...Tier1 (US, UK, AUS, CA) $0.06 CPMTier2 (DK, DE, FR, etc...) $0.04 CPMTier3 (All others) $0.02 CPMBanner sizes will be 728 x 90, 468 x 60 and 300 x 250Input please

I'm sure many advertisers would jump at the chance to such low prices. I am however not one of them. Your site simply does not fit into my demographics nor of any of my clients. The idea is to advertise where prospects are likely to be and to make sales, not advertise just because of low cost.

That sort of site would be good for creating awareness of a product or service. Would be good to have a decent amount of traffic to it as well. I have just one client right now where that would apply (and even then I would be reluctant) and can think of just two more of 120 or so clients in the past. However, good luck to you.

I would potentially be interested, working on a similar concept, but micro-niche image/video sharing that might fit that same audience well.
