SEO is your best bet. You can find cheap freelancers.

but SEO is a long-term bet, and if you don't do it right you may lose months on it. I think. Also same question, of course i bet on SEO but for this first month also want to try some PPC

I prefer ppc on Google, Bing, Yahoo and MAYBE Tribal Fusion and Chikita. Any other type of traffic would be pop unders and pop ups or redirects. Networks like Edomz maybe, if you can filter the bot or "forced / clickjacked" traffic.
