Hi everyone, I just have a quick question. I recently launched a campaign and is live for 12days. I can say it's a successful one since I get an avg of 35% CTR with an avg 30% Conversions rate. My problem is, I believe I am charged with a hefty CPC. The quality score of my keywords are no lower than 8/10, landing page exp. is above average, and I checked in the keyword planner, historically the highest CPC is around $5. I don't get it why Google charges me with $11 CPC and the lowest CPC I get is around $5. I am considering CPC in my metric since the conversion value I get is low. Thanks in advance!

I attached a screenshot so you guys can my quality score, landing page experience, and ad relevance.

Does CPC improve in the long run? I have my conversions being tracked perfectly

The problem with your question is that you haven't written the category of keywords do you target for your campaign.

Let's keep this aside.

If you're running on enhanced and manual cpc then i don't think you should expect lower CPC because for CPC to be 11$ your limit will have to be around 12$. The only solution is for you is to gradually decrease your CPC to meet your conversion value.

If you're running on target CPA or maximise conversions then you can decrease your target CPA but this can be a double edged sword as it can also restrict your campaign budget and train google AI in wrong fashion. I will suggest you to try and recover 80-90% of your campaign budget through your revenue and then after 1 week you will be able to see decreased CPC in your account.

Google is a marathon not a sprint!

I am running a maximize conversion. How do I do that thing when you mentioned "double edge sword as it can also restrict your campaign budget and train Google AI in wrong fashion"? Sorry, I am really new to this.

I will need you to answer few questions for me if you want more insights

1) How much is your campaign budget and what % of daily budget are you spending ?
2) What is your ROAS ?
3) What are your targets in terms of daily spend and ROAS ?
