cPanel Web Hosts VS other panels - thoughts?

Hello,

What’s your thoughts on hosting companies using either their own custom panel and Plesk etc VS cPanel. This is something I have spoke about with other hosts since cPanel changed their pricing structure.

I know a good amount of companies that have jumped ship and started using another panel in order to keep costs and in some cases to have extra features.

My experience so far is Customers prefer cPanel, keep in mind this is rather general but I always get people asking if we use that and will only become a Customer if we do.

I would love to see what your thoughts are on which panel.

I'd like to know this too. I know Site ground is moving away from cpanel and using their own panel. So are many other shared hosting companies...
