Cpanel question for the MSs

    How precise is the amount of visitors shown in Cpanel?

    If you are talking about visitors shown in awstats then it's not correct... I believe they also count bots but I am not sure about it... Still It's clear they don't display correct results always more then what is real. I have tested with several tools and found analytics almost correct...

    As I think you know by now, you need a better stats tool than what you get with cPanel. If you don't want to use Google Analytics on your pages, Clicky is a nice, real time traffic display tool that is free if you have under 3,000 page views per day. It has a lot more features than Analytics including things like bit.ly integration and Feedburner integration.
