Hi there,

quick question; each time I try to pick an offer from CPAGrip my browser lock the Adobe Flash plugin for security reason (tried with FF and Chrome) - see screenshot below.

I can allow Adobe Flash to copy the link, but the tracking_id variable is still empty... I guess this is where I should find my account id.

Are you having the same issue ? How can I handle this?

Thanks for your help,
MG

This is not an issue. The tracking_id parameter is empty because it's for your own use.

It's a custom field that you can use to track anything you want, so for example if you want to log your customer email address you can put it in the tracking_id.

"u" is your user ID and "id" the offer's.

All right. Obvious :)

Thanks Mr Tokyo.

So, I can inject for example IG or FB as tracking id to differentiate users from where they are comming. Got it.

However, there is one thing I cannot understand in your example; how do you manage to get customer email? I mean, once they fill the form to put their mail, they're already on the page, so no way to inject edit the URL...

You cannot extract information from the actual landing page of the offer to track it.

If you want to track a customer email that means in your pre-lander you'll have to ask your users to fill in their email address before you direct them to the offer.

OK. Isn't it too much to ask to you customer to fill twice for their mail? It is probably reducing your leads right?
You probably have another good reason to use a prelander page :) Can say more about it?

Thanks!

Direct linking offers more often then not does not give you desired results. Typically a pre-lander is to increase the quality of traffic hitting the offer and CVR.
