CPABuild Shaving Clicks! DON'T USE THEM. READ THIS.

I've made over more than 20.000$ on CPABUILD. Never got any problems, also checked my clicks & leads. No problem at all. Cpabuild is an amazing network.

Hmmm, I think somewhere is a mistake. Because if they shave they cannot shave 80%, they are not stupid. You say you have 50 clicks on facebook (that's 50 impressions on CPABuild). How many impressions you have on CPABuild? Not clicks, impressions?

Hey OP , welcome to the world of CPA Networks. Everybody is shaving, some just use Straight Razor.

Use this , so it burns less

I've always thought "shaving" could be possible. Otherwise, how do networks make money if it's like this?: Advertiser -> Direct Lead To Publisher

I never took the time to think about that but I always had thoughts that they could potentially be taking some leads from their publishers with high traffic, but never was sure about this. I've always had the mentality where for example if I had 50 clicks, I should have 5 to 6 leads at the very least which seems somewhat fair. But I always wondered why it was like this (since I got used to the pattern) why can't 50 clicks convert to 30 leads? I've also had many complaints and comments through support saying that they completed the offers/surveys and showed proof, but I realized I never received the lead.

I am currently with 2 networks. At one I receive around 5000 clicks per month. Unfortunately however, I touch around $2,000 from these statistics. Where as normally, if it was 5000 clicks, I should be averaging around $5,000 to $6,000 in revenue. It may be something from my side, the network shaving, or the same offer becoming saturated (this does happen from time to time unfortunately) it may be due to many factors as to why this happens.

I always try to stay ahead of the game and change my website or landing page from time to time (I actually do this every day) - including the offers, etc, but I came to realize that it may always be like this.

Unless you create your own network or offer and you are your own advertiser (meaning that you would get 100% revenue and control of your traffic and clicks) which would ultimately be better. I've thought about doing this but the thought always seemed too complicated or more on the unrealistic side since you would be having to do it yourself.

My next conclusion based on not receiving as many leads as you should be, for example: (5,000 clicks at XCPANETWORK = $5,000) could just be facing more towards the publisher's side. Meaning that it may be your fault that it is like that. Because I do see a few publishers results (their stats) and sometimes it's 10 clicks and 7 leads. That's great, right? The network couldn't be shaving him, because that's a VERY GOOD CR that most people don't see. So in my opinion, this is obviously possible, depending if you are original or different enough to accomplish the same. Advertising the same offer, landing page, domain, video, content, etc, for months could result in poor results - more poor over time, if you don't take action to change things.

It's quite complicated to exactly know what is happening behind the scenes of each publisher and if, if, the network or advertisers do in fact shave clicks or leads. This is just what I think. It can be correct for both sides that I shared in my opinion. I'd hope that no network actually shaves because it looks bad if your publishers are paying money out of their own pocket for Facebook Ads and they are just taking advantage of that by shaving leads.

Not only do they shave, if you complain or ask about the network performance in public chat the mod will probably ban you. The ban will not be lifted. The only plus side to that network is the ability to make really simple and quick generators.

You really think that networks work "Advertiser -> Direct Lead" ? Wtf? Of course that network will take % of it and it's the business model and not shaving. The most of you guys confuse Clicks and leads, and why is that if you have 50 clicks you need to have 50 leads? Some of them just click on the offer then give up, or close, or something else... That's normal human behavior. Some standard CVR (clicks/leads) is around 30%, anything above it is just luck/amazing optimisation/amazing proof, below that, opposite.

So if Network shave you, you won't be able to see that because they won't shave on clicks then rather on leads, and there is no freakin' way for you to see that.

I was never told about any of that before so I just assumed that it was like that. I knew somehow the network had to take some part of a % from publishers but never knew how they could besides shaving. But I guess there is a complete difference. I do not confuse clicks and leads, back in 2016 (from my experience) I used to get 100 leads and potentially reach up to 15 leads - which is very good. But as of today, the performance ratio imo is a lot lower and others may be experiencing the same.

Anybody can assume a network could be shaving when they are receiving thousands of clicks last month and have the best CR and then receive the same amount of clicks the next or current month, and have a very bad CR. There's no way to tell on why this is. I explained part of it in my previous post. But that is my opinion.

People are more and more used to "Human verification" things... So yeah, CR will of course fall :)

Did you directly link the content locker? Without any lander? So you track the click when they interact with the content locker?

One thing I hate in life is repeating myself.
My plugin showed 50 clicks. Facebook ads showed 50 clicks.(direct linking) CPABuild showed 11 clicks.

I made it bold and underlined for you.
You're direct linking a CPA offer with FB ads..? Never seen that before.

Have you taken into consideration duplicate leads? As in the lead visiting the website has already visited the website before thru someone elses link.. so that's why it's not registering?

I've read many thread similar to this about pretty much every network, and it typically boils down to people not really knowing the ins and outs of the business as much as they thought they did and being wrong.

Not to say that there aren't networks out there that shave, because there are small networks that have no future that attempt it as a last ditch effort to make some money before closing shop. But typically a long running, experienced company isn't going to ruin their reputation over a couple hundred dollars.. because in the long run they'll lose out more money then they'll gain by ruining their reputation.

You should really contact your AM with your complaint, along with whatever evidence you feel is relevant and sort it out with them. And then, if after that its determined that they really are shaving.. then you out them. But to just out them off assumption based on some plugin you're using isn't a good look, and frowned upon in IM. Alot of people new to IM(and I'm not referring to you) tend to do that.. blame the network, blame the developer of the software they're using because of their own mistakes not even realizing they're the ones that were wrong in the first place. It's not a good look, and an easy way to ruin the reputation of reputable companies and developers.

Just some food for thought, hope you resolve your issue.

the guy who made this post @EricBvba made another one on another forum on which he already apologized for bad mouthing cpabuild without proper proof , in fact he confessed he made a mistake and found out he was not being shaved after talking to his manager .
now why won't he do the same and apologizes on here as well . since people are still coming up with more and more conspiracy theories .

Emm, this should be the reason why he did stop replying.

This guy should be banned! If you guys check his activity, its all about tossing CPABuild.
Hi made an apology thread on another forum and all of this mess is because of him doesn't knowing the difference between Impressions and clicks?
Really, op is long in the CPA business and he doesn't know the difference between those 2? And all of this was resolved AFTER he contacted his AM. C'mon, you should do that before you put some dirt on someones hard work.

I'm using CPABuild for 3 years now, never had any issue. I can set my clock with payments always on time. ICE, Jay, Adam, Prime are great guys and support.

Please join my network because we will not shave your leads ever never. Just make sure to register yourself and complete at least one offer from that content locker wall.

Ok, I've seen it all...

People who gets paid from CPABuild will, well of course say "NO" they do not shave.
People who gets less clicks will of course say yes, they do!

When you get paid your forget about everything, that's a damn fact!
Money changes the language we speak, fact!

I just do not understand 1 damn thing in CPABuild and never will...

What and how do they count clicks?
What they show and what I have, 2 different worlds of results!

I mean 11 clicks and 55 impressions VS 154 unique clicks in reality, hmm...

So, I wont open new thread just to ask this I know people will see it in a time...

Can someone give their own opinion on this?
And please be honest...

Sometime ago, my site had over 200 clicks from Google, build was showing less than 30. After sometime, I moved to grip then found out they are shaving clicks.
The truth is, they shave to have higher EPC. 300 clicks is cool than 30 clicks from build.

Maybe it was cause the locker were down ?

well in case you were using a locker and not direct offer link , then Clicks count on cpabuild when a visitor "Clicks" on an offer on the locker , this means Clicks on your ad/landing page are different from Clicks on cpabuild ... you may have 100 clicks/visits on your LP/site, but only 20 people clicked on your locker offers . hence the difference in stats .

many people don't know this little fact , plus 50 /100 clicks are peanuts xd not enough to accuse someone of shaving .
also i'm pretty sure contacting your manager will help you better .

the thing is people jump and make threads like these even before contacting their manager , and a huge example is the "GUY" who made this one . he made another similar thread on another forum , and over there he acknowledged his mistake after a little chat with his manager , but for some reason he vanished from here .

hope my answer clears some of your confusion :D

im not so sure. ogads will show every single click from same person clicking multiple offers. but seems cpabuild shows one click per ip address. not so sure, will test them more.
