Stupid CPA Way affiliate network shaves like hell. The first lead goes through, then NOTHING, on email + zip. I've tried about 5 different ones. Probably won't even get paid with my luck. Other networks never shaved as bad as these people do.

hm, i worked with them aswell and they seems to me very legit.
Q: you tried about 5 different offer?

how did u promote the email zip submits. maybe theres a problem with your promotion

Yes, they shave... I had some experience, but now all networks are shaving, so you need to find out which one is good with your type of trafic, and shaves less.

Most of them shave... few of them Not... or i am wrong...

Well, this is the major problem if you getting in CPA. :naughty:

Usually the shaver is the advertiser - not the network... it is a huge problem for me and the best cure I found so far is to have a membership in 5+ CPA networks and grab the newest available offers AFAP...

lol.. I use CPAWay and have about 20 referrals..
Never once had any issues with them.

Most likely this was a case of the OP trying to use a fraud method of conversion.
They have a proxy system where they rate the IP used to complete each offer. if its a suspicious ip/proxy you will not get your conversion.

Please give me details, don't just create a thread bashing a network for shaving, when you can't even take the time to post details.

This threads useless w/o details/proof.

Try adding a pixel to the offers, and see if the pixel fires.

Like the what was said before the advertisers are the one who pays and cpas are in the middle for over site.

You expect some shaving but lately my skin is bleeding.
Fluxads is not converting any email/zip lately, and I am not talking some grey/black marketing - legit ppc/banner. Its time I sign up as advertiser.

moviedemands has a point actually
I'm a newbie and I was considering joining cpaway. any evidence would be helpful

Try new freebie offets @ neverblue. I am sure they will convert nicely to you for at least 24 hours each. ;) PM me if you are not a member there and wanna join as my ref :D

Well im not going to explain my traffic method but it is legit, its not bots, proxies, or fake hits or nothing. It is 200% real people going to the offer. Hydra used to do good for me until they changed to adknowledge and have about 3 total campaigns for the entire network. Maybe I'll keep trying different offers. The ones that seem to not shave are the ones where they have to answer like 3 questions then submit their email, but they convert like crap. Still have yet to find just an email / zip offer from this network that is somewhat legit. Why waste my time and advertising $ when they shave 100%, so annoying.

i didnt want you to explain your traffic methods.
Just saying CPAWay is a decent network, I've used them for about a year now. and like I said i have a great deal of referrals to their network.

As someone mentioned above, its not always the network that's shaving, most of the shaving comes from the advertisers.
If you feel they are doing something shady, call them. They are down to earth people and I'm sure they would love to hear some feedback about their advertisers that you think are shaving.

again, try adding a pixel to the offer, and make sure your using some type of tracking, this will help you understand whats going on. It's a great way to find out if they are shaving your leads.

CPAWay is a very honest company, I don't believe they would shave. However Simas is correct, a lot of the shaving happens from the advertisers end. On top of that, many advertisers are apart of different networks, and for each network they either have better or worse conversion rates based on the quality of traffic.

Most of our advertisers are happy with our quality, even though it's mainly incent, so many of our campaigns convert very well, especially for our unlocker.

I worked with them in past. They don't count the leads which come from iframe. Take a note that. Just my 2 million dollars.

Well i just read one CPA rep who is a member of BHW say that it is not the CPA that shaves but rather the advertize. So he confirms that shaving does occur but its not the fault of the CPA company

Im wondering who is shaving really. It is the CPA company or the merchant? In my case, lately iv been sending some "not so nice emails" to my account manager about my sales or lack of. I know when my statistics dont mesh. I suspect that the merchant is actually shaving and not my CPA company. Every other days im sending emails to my manager and im getting less replies the more i do this. Umm, you know, fuck them! If it doesnt stop they'll be getting a phone call from my lawyers.

You guys have to agree with me that CPA advertising isn't what it was several years ago. I used to make $500-over $1000 per month part time promoting offers like email submits on networks before, now the conversions are WAY less and clicks seem to be less, yet I haven't changed my method. I've gotten to the point where I'm tired of wasting my money promoting offers that are not going to convert when they should. I even tried banner ads, after a bunch of wasted money, not 1 conversion on anything.

I caught an advertiser on GoOffers that put the wrong description on when the offer converted, god knows how many other advertisers post false or wrong information on when offers convert.

I just don't see the money in this area anymore, it's a shame cause it used to do well.

You can always asked them for the list of shaved ones and the reason. We used to have a csv file generated that had
IP address, email, timestamp, reason for denial

But we were doing thousands of leads. It's worth asking your affiliate manager
