Anyone out there have much experience with having sales shaved?

I think in total I've lost $40+ due to sales not coming through when I know they converted. Is there anything I can do regarding my cpa company?

Everyone shaves but some networks/advertisers do it more than others. The following simple technique can be used to determine which networks shave the most:

See if your offer exists on more than one network. If it does, split your traffic evenly between network 1 and network 2 and then see which one performs the best. Make sure your results are statistically significant before you come to a conclusion.

Has anybody called out their affiliate manager on this ... granted they will probably kick you out of the program but damn somebody has to answer to this crap. If you know your traffic and and good i would call and give and give them a verbal beatdown.

Just my opinion

Thanks, that was really helpful I didn't think of doing that.

How do you know they converted?

I see this sort of stuff everyday.
If you're not being transparent with your traffic,
Don't expect the networks to be transparent with your conversions.

@oxonbeef

You are totally right!

Also, I do not think that many of CPA networks cuts of the commissions unless it is very dodgy one...

As long as you're providing good leads the good networks will not shave you, as they have no reason to.

Look buddy,
Shaving is the part of the game in CPA industry.
The best way is to get into top 4-5 CPA companies and then divide and rule..
Track who is better and keep switching the networks.
That's what I do..

I'd just like to say that I'm not doing any fraud, I'm not signing up my own offers I never have. I guess I should just keep aiming high with what's working I'm not even making a huge amount of money or whatever but I am doing this for a living now. I do take what I do seriously. I take precautions with what I do, I'm very careful about how I'm passing my traffic to the network. I know the leads I'm giving are all quality.

And in saying all that it has taken me a long while to start earning with CPA.
