CPA networks ask for references?

Hello!

I was trying to get applied in CPAtrend.
I answered all their questions, but their last question was something I couldn't help with. They asked for contact information from Other Affiliate Networks that i'm working with.
I would gladly to give the companies references, but the companies policy states that I am not allowed to give out any reference about my Affiliate Manager or any other information within the network.. I signed this policy when I created an account within their network...
I asked my affiliate manager at Maxbounty and he said he could loose his job..
So after I told him that he said 'Ok, that's it for now. Have a good day, cya' And hang up..

So I'm pretty sure i'm getting denied now..

Any idea's ? It's not the first time that CPA networks ask this, but I can't give them references.

They only need references to make sure you are already working with other companies and you are not noob. Just tell the names of your AM you are working with. They only need names and they will not contact them.
