Ok over the past few months if not more, a lot of the Affiliate companies and their employees have been involved in law suits etc and I find it crazy that not one of them has addressed their affiliates, telling us what is happening even though it could effect us.

What are your thoughts?

I think... I think that you mean "affect", not "effect".
So what you mean is that you are impatient for the law suit to come against you, once they have handed over their affiliate membership details? Patience, young grasshopper.
 
Many affiliates are getting sued buddy, especially the guys doing fraud (organized filling). Some of the bigger guys doing it are going to white collar.
 
The reason they keep you in the dark is so they can happily give up your affiliate details in return for reduced charges or settlement.

These days you can't trust affiliate networks if you're a spammer and you have to take steps to protect yourself.

My thoughts are I don't know what you're talking about because what you said is completely vague. What affiliate companies are you referring to, who is suing them and for what reasons?
 
The main affiliate company I am referring to can't be discussed here so I'm not going to say it.

But the fact is that this does concern us. The main law suits are from Facebook and I think they are keeping us in the dark because most of their earnings are from Affiliates using Facebook, so if they address that they are being taken to court because of it then affiliates might think twice about doing it.
 
I assume you are referring to Jason Swan from c.p.a.l.e.a.d and the guy from Maxbounty?

It's not about if I'm spamming Facebook or not. It's that the companies employees have allegedly been doing it which concerns their affiliates but they are pretending everything is all good when it's obviously not.
 
To the OP- Unless you have been defrauding people and made a lot of money in doing so, I think you're being paranoid

I disagree. If you're using blackhat techniques to generate traffic full stop (ie. not fraud traffic, I'm talking real joins sent with blackhat traffic) you're in a precarious position. Affiliate programs these days won't protect the affiliate - they'll just pocket the money for the joins you sent and can you without payment. Then they'll give you up in a heartbeat to save themselves any problems.

One example of a company that does this is Peerfly.

Yeah I'm not talking about that though. I'm talking about these law suits affecting the employees, that affects the company which therefore affects us, the affiliates.
